The MoU affirms the partnership between the UK government and Marubeni, which included the Solar and Optimisation by ZeMpower, indicating the UK government's commitment to supporting Marubeni's plan, with its partners, to invest approx. £10 billion in clean energy projects over the next 10 years.

Case Study:
Nissan Norton Way
A new future energy project explored how UK business can leverage advanced electric vehicle (EV) charging capabilities and Vehicle-to-Building (V2B) technology.
The Nissan Norton Way dealership was the site of Marubeni's first UK multi-technology net zero solution to assist corporations in considering how best to electrify their fleet to work towards achieving net zero carbon targets, optimise EV batteries and maximise returns on investment. With a focus on flexibility, the Norton Way project utilised predictive controls and optimisation strategies to inform service offerings. By studying the results generated over a one-year period the Marubeni team gained rich data insights which shape the current products.
